What’s the news?

Through recent acquisitions effective November 1, 2021, Adaptive Corporation and Forward Vision are now part of TriMech, along with the Front End Analytics portfolio of Dassault Systèmes and EASA Software clients.

Together, we strengthen our position as the preferred strategic partner to advanced engineers and manufacturers across North America. That means even more highly skilled people and in-demand products and services will be available to you, to help you manage rapid digital transformation and solve your toughest, enterprise-wide business challenges.

The majority of clients won’t see many changes to how you do day-to-day business with us. Adaptive will continue to operate under the name Adaptive – A TriMech Company. The Forward Vision team will join Adaptive, along with clients currently supported by Front End Analytics.

Almost all clients will continue to connect with the people they are used to contacting, with clients of Front End Analytics now being supported by experienced staff at Adaptive and TriMech.

Front End Analytics will remain an independent company focusing on advancing their Physics Informed Machine Learning and AI solutions.

You remain in the best possible hands and we’ll keep you informed of any changes.

Why have the companies joined?

We complement each other well, and together, we are stronger for our clients.

You will benefit from an expanded team of experts in a larger suite of products and services. In addition to the people, products, and services that you are used to working with, you will begin to see more specialized offerings in some key areas.

We are strengthening our capabilities across the Dassault Systèmes portfolio, including CATIA, DELMIA, SIMULIA, and ENOVIA. These tools support 3D modeling, simulation, creating virtual twins of products or production systems, collaboration, and information intelligence applications.

Adaptive is particularly strong in advanced CAD and simulation, product lifecycle management (PLM), and metrology, including Creaform scanners. The Forward Vision team specializes in CATIA, DELMIA, and FlexSim and has expertise in robotics, ergonomics, factory scheduling, throughput simulation, and logistics workflows. Both companies have clients in transportation and automotive, aerospace and defense, and industrial equipment which are focus areas for TriMech.

In addition, FEA is transferring its portfolio of Dassault Systèmes and EASA Software clients to Adaptive and TriMech, who can offer expanded support and solutions.

Who are the company leaders?

TriMech continues to be led by Marcel Matte, President and CEO.

Senior management at Adaptive and Forward Vision will remain in place. Wayne Tanner, Adaptive’s President, will serve as General Manager of Adaptive – A TriMech Company. Wayne will report to Ted Lee, TriMech’s Chief Services Officer. Ted was the CEO of Canada’s Javelin Technologies, which was acquired by TriMech in May 2021.

Forward Vision’s President Joe Hugan and Vice President John Moran will serve as Product Managers for Robotics and Discrete Event Simulation, continuing to support clients with their existing teams.

After transitioning its clients to the experienced staff at Adaptive and TriMech, Front End Analytics will continue to independently develop its Physics Informed Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence software solutions under the direction of its CEO Juan F. Betts and with its existing team.

What are the strengths of the integrated company?

The combined company has expertise across every stage of product development, including mechanical and electrical design, simulation and testing, data management, technical communication, and production. We are a top provider of the full suite of SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD software and 3DEXPERIENCE, as well as configure-price-quote automation, process and workflow assessment, in-person and online training, recruiting and staffing services, and engineering and implementation services.

TriMech also sells and supports Stratasys 3D printers, metal 3D printers, post-processing equipment, and 3D laser scanners, and provides advanced manufacturing and prototyping services. 

How will clients benefit?

• The combined company has about 150 technical specialists who can provide deeper, more specialized support in areas such as advanced simulation, assessment and training, enterprise resource planning (ERP), product lifecycle management (PLM), and cloud-based solutions.
• For clients just joining the TriMech family, TriMech has a dedicated recruitment team to help you find technical specialists to quickly fill critical engineering and related positions on your teams.
• You can outsource even more, such as design and engineering and software implementation services, when you don’t have the people, time, expertise, or technology to manage projects in house.

What is the footprint of the integrated company? Where do you operate?

Along with remote team members, TriMech has 25 locations across the central and eastern U.S. (from Arkansas and Florida to Ohio and Maine) and five offices in Canada. Many services are available to clients across North America and beyond.

The combined company serves more than 15,000 active clients.

How should I handle invoices and payments?

Invoicing and payments will continue as usual. If changes arise in the future, you will be notified well in advance and will have a chance to ask questions.

Does this affect my subscription?

No. Any subscriptions will remain the same, and you’ll get the same communications about subscription benefits and renewals.

Can I still receive support on products I already purchased from any company?

Yes. With all the overlap in the products we sell and support, we are fully equipped to handle your most complex questions.

Will training offerings change?

TriMech offers extensive training options, both in-person and online. Training offerings available to you will expand.
