What are SOLIDWORKS Cloud Services?
In July 2023, Dassault Systèmes released new functionality for SOLIDWORKS users known as SOLIDWORKS Cloud Services.
These services empower engineering and design teams to solve modern challenges and minimize mundane tasks by providing tools to improve collaboration, cloud data management, and design sharing.
All new purchases of SOLIDWORKS CAD include Cloud Services as part of their subscription, while licenses purchased prior to July 2023 can be upgraded for a nominal fee.
These services are integrated within the SOLIDWORKS interface and seamlessly connect SOLIDWORKS to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, opening the door for you to access even more powerful tools for formal data management, advanced simulation, freeform modeling, marketing, and more.

Share and Markup
Need to share your designs with colleagues, contractors or clients? Now you can do so from directly within SOLIDWORKS.
Whoever you're working with can then view the files from any browser, without requiring any downloads or additional installations.
Better yet, they can redline, add detailed markups, and comment directly on shared files, making it easy to keep track of collaboration history while maintaining a single source of truth.
Store and Revise
Access secure cloud-based data management and file storage directly within your SOLIDWORKS interface or internet browser.
The 3DEXPERIENCE platform is CAD-intelligent so it can understand how files relate and provides tools so that you can easily share, revise, and review your designs.
Collaborating with other designers is streamlined via the ability to lock files you're working on, revert to previous revisions, and provide feedback directly on files through comments and markups.

The SOLIDWORKS Cloud Services are the entry point to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, and offer fantastic benefits to SOLIDWORKS users.
