Our SOLIDWORKS Electrical Implementation Services include configuration, parts and cable library setup, template setup and installation using SOLIDWORKS and TriMech best practices.
Electrical Deployment System (EDS) Options
The SOLIDWORKS Electrical Deployment System 1 (EDS1) provides setup to standardize the library of parts and enable users to quickly become productive. This implementation sets up and classifies the parts and cable databases with those you specify.
The SOLIDWORKS Electrical Deployment System 2 (EDS2) incorporates company standards for drawing frames and naming conventions. The software is configured to produce documentation that adheres to the company standards. In addition to all services included in EDS1, this level includes the setup of templates and the customer’s title blocks as well as software installation.
The SOLIDWORKS Electrical Deployment System 3 (EDS3) brings implementation time to a minimum. The software is configured to produce documentation that adheres to the company’s standards. A statement of work enables flexibility and defines the work to be completed. Typically, this module would include the definition of the circuits, creation of custom symbols, importing of existing symbols, setup of 2D footprint and definition of connections on 3D models. In most cases, the Statement of Work (SOW) will be developed after the customer has completed the initial SOLIDWORKS Electrical training courses.
Our PDM Implementation Services include installation, configuration and training using SOLIDWORKS and TriMech’s best practices data management vault.
Rapid Deployment System (RDS) Options
SOLIDWORKS PDM Standard: This CAD-centric remote deployment is targeted specifically for customers who are only interested in securing their revision control.
SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional: This remote deployment is targeted specifically for customers who are only interested in securing their revision control.
SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional: This on-site deployment is targeted specifically for customers who are interested in managing their data in a pre-configured vault including multiple workflows, approval processes and library management.
SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional: This on-site deployment is targeted specifically for customers who are interested in managing their data in a vault defined and configured to customer’s specific processes and standards.
PDM Administration Support
Our PDM Administration Support covers how-to questions and any administration-related work at the discretion of the support provider. Custom programming could be handled through admin support hours if time and effort estimates are very likely accurate.
To obtain Administration Support, you may contact your TriMech Implementer directly or TriMech’s technical support staff. TriMech’s support engineers will track used time and the available balance of support hours. The available balance of Admin Support hours and a report of used hours can be provided upon request. Admin Support is pre-purchased in blocks of time or will be billed per hour if there are no pre-purchased hours available to bill against.
