The 3DEXPERIENCE Product Designer Package from TriMech includes all of the features in the 3DEXPERIENCE Base Package plus 3D Component Designer and 3D Sculptor (xShape).
3D Component Designer provides you with the ability to have one complete, holistic model that can serve all product development disciplines by connecting to SOLIDWORKS. This allows for design data to become a part of a full model-based product definition, granting you to access a rich set of apps and collaboration via the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. 3D Component Designer also includes visual navigation so you can easily understand where a component is being used and how a prospective change in the design may affect it.
3D Sculptor, or xShape, is a browser-based 3D subdivision modeling solution that helps industrial designers, engineers and artists to build and design faster and more easily than traditional parametric tools. It complements the parametric workflows in SOLIDWORKS well with intuitive subdivision and effortless exchange of design data. 3D Sculptor allows you to fluctuate the product shape at any point throughout the development cycle eliminating the need to re-model as the changes disseminate to the parts, assemblies, drawings, mold tooling and CAM data automatically.
