3DEXPERIENCE Design Engineer Package
Expedite your design-to-manufacturing process with flexible workflows and real-time collaboration while managing your product designs and documents directly from your desktop authoring application or from the web-based apps on the platform on any device. You and your team can leverage SOLIDWORKS data within the platform, pairing easily modeled parametric solids and surfaces with lifecycle operations such as revising, releasing and locking/unlocking.
The 3DEXPERIENCE Design Engineer Package from TriMech includes all the features in the 3DEXPERIENCE Base Package, plus 3D Component Designer and 3D Creator (xDesign).
3D Component Designer provides you with the ability to have one complete, holistic model that can serve all product development disciplines by connecting to SOLIDWORKS. This allows for design data to become a part of a full model-based product definition, allowing you to access a rich set of apps and collaboration via the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. 3D Component Designer also includes a visual navigation so you can easily understand where a component is being used and how a prospective change in the design may affect it.
3D Creator, or xDesign, is a browser-based 3D modeling solution that allows designers and engineers to easily model parametric solids and surfaces as well as optimize and expand existing designs with a generative design approach. The software allows for an extra level of flexibility and eliminates the need to plan your entire assembly in the beginning because it provides the opportunity to make model changes at any time in a single modeling environment for parts and assemblies. 3D Creator will help you understand structural requirements such as support loads and constraints through the Design Guidance, an exploration of optimal material.
Key features include everything in the Base Package plus:
- Performing lifecycle operations
- Flexible workflows and real-time collaboration
- Easy-to-use parametric modeling capabilities
- Viewing and editing 3D product designs from a web browser
