SolidWorks-World-User-Community-935008-edited.jpg

The SOLIDWORKS User Group Network (SWUGN) Summit is a SOLIDWORKS World staple. In its 18th year, the summit brings together hundreds of SWUGN leaders, officers, group members and SOLIDWORKS executives to network, share stories and talk about the success of the SWUGs. You may even see the SOLIDWORKS CEO stop by!

This year’s summit will be held on Monday, February 6 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm. Everyone is invited to attend to see how they can get involved with a local SWUG or form their own group.

Plus (a little TriMech plug): TriMech has been voted the SWUGN Reseller of the Year for 2016. Our engineering director, Kevin Zich, will be there to accept the award and say a few words. Way to go, TriMech engineers!

In addition to industry insights and live product demos, you’ll get a full year subscription to DraftSight Professional (a $199 value) with your participation fee.

SOLIDWORKS World Style: Three New T-Shirts

You’ll have your choice of three user-designed t-shirts. The first is from William from Graniteville. His shirt features the SOLIDWORKS World logo in place of the Hollywood sign.

Your second option (and my personal favorite) comes from Daniel from Honolulu. His design shows the beautiful California sun shining over the LA skyline.

Last but not least is a submission from Buddy of Fountain Valley. His shirt represents the conference as a whole with the letters “LA” flanked by the Hollywood sign.

While they didn’t win, two TriMech AEs entered their designs into the contest this year.
