Save Time Searching
The search capabilities have now been extended to the customize interface window. This makes it much easier to help you find the command you’d like to add to the interface. Customizing the interface is one thing every power user takes advantage of, and this is a can’t-miss improvement to SOLIDWORKS 2021 for both power users and novices. Just start typing in the command and then you can drag the icon to the UI. Gone are the days of struggling to remember the menu location for whichever icon you needed. Speaking from personal experience I remember forgetting whether the “Normal to” command was in Views or Standard Views. Well, now we can all forget that a struggle like this ever happened.
With the new search capabilities in the customize interface you no longer need to spend extra time searching for a command – find it instantly by just typing it in.
