As we head into the peak of summer, the International Association for the Engineering Modelling, Analysis and Simulation Community (NAFEMS) and Digital Engineering are gearing up to co-host the largest gathering of computer-aided engineering professionals. TriMech will be in attendance, as keynote speakers from Ford Motor Company to technical officials from Federal Aviation Administration discuss emerging challenges in manufacturing and material processes as applicable to digital engineering.
The Conference on Advancing Analysis & Simulation in Engineering (CAASE)
CAASE18 will bring together the leading visionaries, developers and practitioners of CAD technologies in an open forum, to share experiences, discuss relevant trends, discover common themes and explore future issues. In addition to presentations, NAFEMS has organized over nine educational short courses in finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to provide attendees with continuing professional development. Below is a short list of courses being offered:
- Dynamic FEA
- Fatigue & Fracture Mechanics in FEA
- CFD for Structural Designers & Analysts
- Practical Introduction to CFD
- Modeling of Joints & Connections
- Elements of Turbulence Modeling
- Nonlinear FEA
- Structural Optimization
This conference will cover a wide range of topics, addressing every aspect of engineering analysis and simulation during a 3-day program. Stay tuned as we provide daily recaps during the conference!
