By Tricia Klebe on

We are excited to announce the winner of our TriMech Sponsored Giveaway!

At SOLIDWORKS World 2017, TriMech sponsored a giveaway in honor of the new Stratasys F123 Series product launch. Participants gathered at the Stratasys booth to view the new F370 FDM printer and entered to win a TriMech gift basket that included a $50 Amazon giftcard. TriMech randomly selected one winner, who we are happy to announce is Philip Cathell from Orbital ATK.

Philip Cathell from Orbital ATK wins TriMech giveaway prize from SOLIDWORKS World 2017

Orbital ATK is an aerospace and defense company that designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems. They produce products ranging anywhere from tactical missiles and satellites to launch vehicles and defense electronics.

Philip plays a role on the team’s Technical Services Division and is currently on a contract for the NASA Sounding Rocket Program. Some of his favorite things about SOLIDWORKS World 2017 (besides winning an awesome gift basket from TriMech) were the vendor exhibits and training sessions.

“SOLIDWORKS World wowed me with the vendor exhibition floor and helped me connect with new solutions and technology to improve processes in my program,” Philip said. “The training sessions gave us several ideas on how to do more by more fully using SOLIDWORKS.”

Philip can already see the great benefits SOLIDWORKS and 3D printing can do for his product design. He even commented on potential uses for the Stratasys F123 Series.

“[Stratasys f123 Series] looks like a great R&D tool.”

We are happy to hear yet another company be enthusiastic about SOLIDWORKS and 3D printing technology. Congratulations, Philip!
