All server upgrades are handled by Dassault Systèmes.

Data can also be shared with outside vendors allowing them to redline and markup designs if changes are necessary. It can also track conversations about a single file. Typically, conversations have been done through email but storing the conversations digitally in the platform allows users to access the information from anywhere, even if they weren’t included in the email string.

The 3DEXPERIENCE platform isn’t just a data management system. It’s also a business development platform. There are tools to aid in all aspects of simulation, manufacturing, analysis, sales and marketing. Just a few of the exciting opportunities for growth are in simulation and manufacturing. Robotics and automation are big in manufacturing these days, and the platform offers tools to assist in programming robots and laying out production lines. Being able to plan a line ahead of time and more efficiently in the development process can save headaches and changes late in the process when they are exponentially more difficult.
