When designing electrical schematics with SOLIDWORKS Electrical, one way to save a substantial amount of time is to eliminate the need for duplicating efforts. If you’re already doing something, why would you want to do it again, right? If you’re adding marks to your wires, why would you want to go back and manually redo the numbering if you want something other than the default out of the box scheme.
The video shows how SOLIDWORKS Electrical is able to pass the equipotential mark through a symbol. This is done based on the intelligence of a symbol placed on your electrical schematic. Instead of breaking the wire into two pieces with different marks, you can push the equipotential through or across the symbol, so you can get the desired effect on your schematic.
