3D Printed Firepower in Men in Black 3

Thanks to Sam Green for this great Objet Blog Post!
If you’re a fan of the Men in Black trilogy and 3D printing, then this is your lucky day!

Moddler is a San Francisco-based custom 3D printing shop. Using their in-house Objet Eden500 3D printer they were able to create a number of uniquely designed futuristic hand-gun prototypes for the 3rd installment of the MIB films (here’s the trailer in case you haven’t yet seen it yet)!

You can check out their short video here and see their gallery of futuristic and alien-style weapon props used for MIB 3 here.

In the meantime, below are some more samples. Check out the incredible design detail on these futuristic weapons and how the Objet printer accurately reproduces even the very fine nuances of each model.

And at the bottom of this post, an extra surprise that I’ve added – a whole rack of Beretta’s straight out of the Objet Connex 3D printer (with the support material still attached to each model), plus an example of a multi-material prototype in clear transparent and rigid black material – created as a single piece on the Objet Connex multi-material 3D printer!
