DESCRIPTION: TriMech is seeking a full-time SImulation Project Engineer to join our team.


  • Tasked with taking the lead on a variety of FEA and CFD analysis focused projects with multiple clients in the Engineering, Manufacturing and Design fields.
  • Will be working with a team of TriMech Project Engineers to support clients’ unique project requirements.
  • Will be working Directly under the Project Engineering Manager with support and direction from the team’s Lead Simulation Project Engineer.
  • FEA Projects will involve Linear/Non-Linear Static, Kinematic, Dynamic, Natural Frequency, Vibration, Fatigue, etc. analyses.
  • CFD Projects will involve Electronics Cooling/Thermal, general Fluid Flow and Particle analyses.

Job Requirements

Required Expertise:

  • FEA and CFD Analysis software experience. SolidWorks Simulation and Flow preferred.
  • General Product Development background.
  • Understanding design for manufacturability principles.

Preferred Expertise:

  • Contracting background is a plus.
  • Plastic injection molding design experience.
  • Understanding design for manufacturability principles.

Travel: 10-20% travel is required. Both daily driving, flying and overnight stays.

Experience: 5-10 years Computer Aided Analysis, Mechanical Engineering and Design

Degree: B.S. in Engineering discipline
